Rise N’ Shine North Iowa
FREE admission, parking, carnival rides, and a TON of FREE entertainment…Need we say more?!
It may not be the ‘BIGGEST’ Fair around, but it will be the ‘FREE-EST’!
With its ‘On The Rise’ momentum, you don’t want to miss out on the North Iowa Fair 2017!
FREE Admission
That’s right, no admission cost when entering the fair. The worries of a family of 6’s entrance fee taking a large chunk of the ‘Summer Fun Money’ is yesterdays news. Grab the entire family and well catch ya’ there!
FREE Parking
Who else hates spending $10-$20 on parking? I know I do…and let’s be honest, that cost is comparable to about 4 funnel cakes…which would you rather have? Enjoy FREE parking all day, everyday!
FREE Carnival Rides
Yes, you read correctly, FREE.CARNIVAL.RIDES, this may come as a shock, as I personally have never heard of such an incredible extra at any fair before, but yes, it’s true!
The public is invited to enjoy free carnival rides the entirety of the fair. A majority of the carnival rides are suited towards children, with the exception of a few rides for adults (we want to have fun too!)
2nd Annual Balloon Rally
Over a dozen balloons will fly and offer morning launches and evening glows on the green space Friday, Saturday & Sunday of the fair. All balloon launches/glows are open to the general public, free of charge, (dependent on weather, of course). Optional extras include $10 tethered rides and $1 walk-in balloons. Morning Launches take place between 6:00am-8:00am and Evening Glows 6:00pm-10:00pm.
Friday (21st) – Evening Glow
Saturday (22nd) – Morning Launch & Evening Glow
Sunday (23rd) – Morning Launch & Evening Glow
1st Annual Small Stage Music Festival
What’s better than a music festival? A FREE music festival!
Dig musical entertainment Thursday, Friday & Saturday of the fair! Performing Artists from Clarksville, Clear Lake, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Mason City, Rochester, MN & Nashville, TN come together to put on one heck of a music festival!
Celebrate the return of live music to the North Iowa Fair. The festival will kick-off on Thursday, July 20th, with Special guest singer/songwriter Crystal Bowersox. Bowersox has been performing for audiences since the age of 10. Her soulful, stirring approach to Americana music has been met with critical acclaim. With collaborations that include legendary talent such as the late Joe Cocker and BB King, Alanis Morrisette, Jakob Dylan, John Popper, Melissa Etheridge and many more!
