LEGO Building Contest

Wright on the Park invites LEGO builders ages 8-12 to participate in a fun and educational event from 1-3:30PM at the Historic Park Inn Hotel. The theme, “Place-Based-Design,” encourages kids to choose a particular location and build a modest Lego dwelling suitable to the nature of that site. It is to be built at home and brought to the hotel ballroom on the day of the event.  All participants will have an opportunity to show and tell about what they built. It’s free to participate and activities will include a special program, a tour of the hotel, positive feedback from the judges and treats for the participants. First place will receive $75 and the chance to have their winning design displayed for two weeks in the window of the Historic Park Inn Hotel Gift Shop.
