Located along the Winnebago River, within steps of the Mason City Aquatic Center. A pedestrian footbridge connects the 95-site campground to beautiful East Park. The campground is open from mid-April to mid-October depending on weather conditions. Campers can choose from 20 full hookup trailer camping pads with water, sewer, and electrical hookups; 55 sites with hookups for water and electrical; and 20 tent camping sites with water only. Each campsite includes a fire ring and a picnic table. Tent area includes fire rings, picnic tables, and large barbeque grills. The picnic shelter area offers accessible picnic tables and barbeque grills. A modern bathhouse, restrooms, coin-operated laundry facilities, storm shelter, and dump station are also available. The on-site store sells common camping necessities. Campsites are available on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. Online reservations required.
