Central Park

Located in the heart of downtown Mason City, this 2.6-acre park was commonly referenced as “Public Square”. Surrounded by shopping, dining, and historic architecture the park is home to several monuments including the magnificent 1884 Civil War statue, the Statue of Liberty, and Mason City Veteran’s Monument. Several sculptures from the River City Sculptures on Parade and a sculpture frame for photo ops are also located within the park. Park benches, picnic tables, and beautiful flower gardens make this a perfect spot to enjoy a picnic or a relaxing break in the open air. The City’s transit comfort station and main hub are also located in the northeast corner of the park.
