Different Perspectives
Different Perspectives seeks to highlight artists in the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum’s Permanent Collection whose viewpoints have been ignored or overlooked in the past in American Art Museums and Art Galleries and in the Art Community of the United States as a whole. Artists included in this exhibition are Indigenous, African American, Asian American, Latinx, immigrants to the United States or artists who self-identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ Community. Different Perspectives focuses on artists who have not always received equal time in the artistic spotlight. The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9AM-5PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM-8PM. Admission is free.
