LIME CREEK NATURE CENTER STORYWALK
On display through October 30, 2020
Take in the fall beauty of the Lime Creek Nature Center while reading the book A Tree Is Nice, a classic tale about the beauty of the everyday world and winner of the Caldecott Medal.
“Trees are pretty. They fill up the sky. If you have a tree, you can climb up its trunk, roll in its leaves, or hang a swing from one of its limbs. Cows and babies can nap in the shade of a tree. Birds can make nests in the branches. A tree is good to have around. A tree is nice.”
Pages from the book will be on display along the Center’s easy-access paved trail throughout the fall season.
