Submit An Event

Event Submission Requirements:

  • Before submitting an event, please check to make sure your event is not already listed on the Visit Mason City calendar of events.
  • Events that attract overnight visitors to Cerro Gordo County will be considered for publication on our calendar of events. Priority is given to events in Mason City.
  • Events should be of interest to travelers and the general public. Therefore, events related to promotions/sales, fundraisers, luncheons, religious gatherings, or any other non-entertainment events will not be approved.
  • Be sure to include details regarding dates and times, admission, and a thorough description of your event. Please be sure to include an image to represent your event.
  • Visit Mason City reserves the right to accept, reject or edit any event submitted. Please allow 2-3 business days for your event to be published.
