UNITED EXPRESS FLIGHTS TO CHICAGO LAUNCH MARCH 1ST
Daily United Express jet service, operated by SkyWest Airlines, from Mason City Municipal Airport (MCW) to Chicago (ORD) will begin March 1, 2021. These new flights will provide travelers access to United’s global network. Tickets are available now at united.com.
“We are excited to bring jet service back to Mason City. Partnering with SkyWest and United Airlines will allow passengers easy ticketing and checked baggage connections to hundreds of destinations worldwide,” said David Sims, Airport Manager for the Mason City Municipal Airport.
“Whether North Iowa travelers are heading to Chicago or beyond, these new flights are a great option,” said Greg Atkin, SkyWest’s managing director of Market Development. “Our passengers can also fly with confidence thanks to the layered approach to safety we have taken, with includes enhanced cleaning, mandatory face coverings, and customer self-assessments with check-in.”
All United Express flights from Mason City will be operated by SkyWest Airlines. Flights are timed to provide maximum connection opportunities for both business and leisure travelers.
Customers onboard the new flights will have the opportunity to accrue frequent flier miles in United’s MileagePlus loyalty program and will enjoy service aboard SkyWest’s CRJ200 regional aircraft. SkyWest is the largest CRJ200 operator and has been named the manufacturer’s most reliable operator in North America five times.
